About Us

Clara is a relatively small town, situated in the north of Offaly, with a population of some 3,500 people (approximately). It has many interesting geographical features which define the town. Probably the most well-known feature of Clara is what has now become internationally known as Clara Bog. Situated just south of Clara, this raised bog has become famous for it's species of flora, which according to visiting experts are rare and valuable, and contain the finest specimens of this type in Europe.

Scoil Bhríde is a Catholic girls Primary school which strives to provide a caring environment in a community of pupils, staff, parents/guardians and management.
The uniqueness of each individual is nurtured and developed, enabling the student to live a full life and to realise her potential as an individual.
